Testimonials
I have known Robert Brugler as a presenter of Abraham Lincoln and as a volunteer and docent at Ohio’s Governors Residence for over four years. Bob is wonderful as an interpreter in teaching and informing his audience as well as engaging and entertaining adults and children. He is especially effective walking around interacting with visitors showing his versatility. He adds a great deal to the events of the Friends of the Governor’s Residence and Heritage Garden.
In his Lincoln attire, Robert has an amazing physical resemblance to our 16th President and his presentations make history come alive. He also welcomes questions from his audience and has an uncanny knack of engaging his audience while staying in character. His knowledge of Lincoln is encyclopedic.
His experience as a high school science teacher enhances his abilities to connect, educate and entertain all at the same time. I can recommend him highly and know you will be pleased with his presentation. Please feel free to contact me should you desire more information.

RE: Letter of Recommendation for Robert Brugler
To Whom It May Concern:
The Marion County Historical Society had the great pleasure of presenting Robert Brugler at a recent event – the 2010 "Dinner With the Presidents"
As the director of the Marion County Historical Society I was struggling to find a really good Lincoln portrayer to be the highlighted speaker since our event celebrated the 150th Anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s election as President of the United States of America. A friend and colleague recommended Robert Brugler as our “Abraham Lincoln”. The recommendation was so enthusiastic that we asked him to come on board for the event.
WOW! Were we pleased! Robert not only looks like Abraham Lincoln, but he is a confident, relaxed performer who immediately puts the audience at ease; he’s a very simple, sincere yet funny guy and is totally true to the character of Lincoln. His personal approach to storytelling left everyone at his dinner table entranced and hanging on every word.
Robert is totally engaging and most importantly, he has something to say and does it in such a way that you really feel you are having a conversation with old Honest Abe himself. His portrayal was the highlight of the event even though there were six other presidents who were represented as well.
Aside from his many commendable qualities as a performer, Robert is an easy-going, generous, good guy, who is fun and pleasant to have around.
I’d be happy to speak to you in person about Robert’s Abraham Lincoln presentation if you wish to call me at (740) 387-4255. I am a big fan.
Sincerely,
